Obituary for Yvonne Smith (Acree)
Graveside Services for Mrs. Yvonne Smith of West Monroe will be 10 AM Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Rocky Branch Cemetery in Rocky Branch with the Rev. Eugene Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born on October 12, 1930 in Farmerville, La and passed from this life on October 12, 2014 in West Monroe at the age of 84.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Mylus Smith.
Survivors include four sons, William Ira Smith and wife Sheila, Derwood Smith & wife Shirley, Kenneth Dale Smith and wife Kaye, Billy Wayne Smith and wife Jodi; three daughters, Jenny Faye Smith, Nelda Kaye Smith, and Bonnie Sue Smith Cruse; four grandchildren, Christy Smith Tipton, Rebecca Cruse, Mark Hendrix, and Donnie Hendrix; four great-grandchildren, Alex Tipton, Christopher Tipton, Mykyla Buie, and Michael Buie.
Pallbearers will be Billy Dean, Daniel Ebby, Cody Ebby, Tommy McHenry, and Don White.
