Funeral services for Mrs. Letha A. Smith, 69, will be 10AM Friday at Fishnet Worship Center. A private Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Smith was born on March 1, 1943 in Richland Parish to the union of Ernest and Letha Lee Duchesne and passed from this life on Sunday February 24, 2013 at Glennwood Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.
She was a homemaker, a member of Fishnet Worship Center and the Order of the Eastern Star. She had a passion for crocheting and painting.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Johnny Milton Smith; 2 sons Michael Blaine Smith and John Edwin Smith and a sister Linda Meredith.
Survivors include her son Robert E. Smith and wife Sheila; siblings Mary Gilley, Phyllis Crum, Zelda Moore (Kenny), Ernestlee McClanahan, Wanda Blackmon (David), Rhonda Washam (Robbie) and Peggy Aycock (Richard); also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for friends will be Thursday 5pm until 8pm at the Fishnet Worship Center 4401 Hwy 34 West Monroe.
