Joyce Yvonne Simmons
Private memorial services for Ms. Joyce Yvonne Simmons of Monroe, LA will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe.
Ms. Simmons was born February 25, 1951 in Bernice, LA and passed from this life on December 28, 2017 in Monroe, LA at the age of 66. She loved her “fur babies” and was a loving and outgoing person and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Francis Simmons; and one son, Bobby Moore.
Survivors include her siblings, Denise Silman and husband, Dennis of Kilgore, TX, Rudy Simmons of West Monroe and Laverne Copeland of Carthage, TX; her special cousin, Larry Ann Simmons; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
