Funeral Services for Kathy Burgess Eubanks will be held Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Calhoun, LA. Pastor Neil Everett officiating. Interment will follow at the Lone Cherry Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Kathy was born September 13, 1954 in Winnsboro, LA, and passed from this life on January 5, 2018 in Calhoun, LA at the age of 63. Kathy was a member of First Baptist Church of Calhoun, LA. She graduated from Mangham High School. Kathy enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was a fantastic cook, and loved cooking for others.
She was preceded in death by her two sisters Gloria Jean Howington Owens and Brenda Yvonne Howington; three brothers Bennie Howington Jr, Jimmy Howington and Ricky Burgess; parents Ruby Margaret Wilson Burgess and Claude Seymour Burgess; and one son Micheal Eubanks.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband of thirty one years Marshal Eubanks of Calhoun, LA; two sons Buddy Felter and his wife Christina of Mangham, LA and Steve Eubanks of Monroe, LA; three grandchildren James Michael Eubanks, Blake Felter, Josh Ellis; two great-grandchild Elizabeth and Erik Ellis; one brother David Burgess; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00- 2:00 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Calhoun, LA.
