Grover Carl Elliott
Funeral services for Mr. Grover Carl Elliott of Oak Grove, LA will be 2:00pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at First United Pentecostal Church in Oak Grove, LA with Bro. Terry Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Fiske Union, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, January 9, 2018 at the church.
Mr. Elliott was born March 5, 1938 in Oak Grove, LA and passed from this life on January 6, 2018 at the age of 79. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Wayne Elliott; brother, Hank Elliott; parents, Jesse and Mammie Elliott and granddaughter, Crystal Tarver.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years Barbara Elliott of Oak Grove; his children, Loretta Coile (Randall) of Cotton Valley, LA, James Elliott (Laura) of Monroe, LA, Carla Tarver of Baton Rouge, LA, Jesse Elliott of Oak Grove, Tammy Cordell (Fred) of Douglasville, GA and Carl Matthew Elliott (Rachal Russell) of New Braunfels, TX; eight grandchildren, Brett Elliott, James Ryan Granger, Austin Granger, Shane Tarver, Jessica Elliott, Seth Elliott, Ainsley Cordell and Brecken Elliott; four great-grandchildren, Hope Granger, Kane Granger, Brooklyn Diane Tarver and Linkin Tarver; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
