Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Moira Richardson will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Calhoun, with Pastor Neil Everett officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family will accept friends for visitation Friday, February 5 from 5PM until 8PM.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Luton, England on September 1, 1941 and passed from this life on February 1, 2021, at the age of 79. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Calhoun, and spent many years as the Joy Adult Sunday School class teacher. She loved to travel, spend time with her family, needlepoint, and shopping.
Yvonne is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Gertrude Godfrey.
Those left to cherish her memories include her loving husband of 61 years Gary Richardson of Calhoun, LA. Her children, Lane Richardson and wife Debbie of Haughton, LA, David Richardson and wife Amanda of Fayetteville, AR, Stuart Richardson and wife Denise of Calhoun, LA.
Also left to cherish her memories include two sisters, Sandra Lockwood of Sanger, TX; Jeffina Evans of Houston, TX; brother Keith Evans and wife Laura of Tustin, California; seven grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and treasured caregiver and friend Mary Travillion.
