Obituary for Woodson Floyd Clark

A ceremony celebrating the life of Woodson F. Clark will be held at 2 pm on Thursday April 6, 2023, at The Pentecostals Twin Cities Church, 1255 Glenwood Drive, West Monroe, visitation will begin at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Clark was born on July 25, 1930, in Crowville, LA and departed from this life on Sunday April 2, 2023, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center at the age of 92 years.

He was a resident of West Monroe, retired from the U S Postal Service, and a member of The Pentecostals Twin Cities Church. He served with the U S Army during the Korean Conflict, having received a Purple Heart Medal.

He is preceded in death by his wife Inez Posey Clark, two sons Joel and David Clark, parents J. W. Clark Sr., and Annie Winstead Clark, siblings Katheryn Majors, Aline Paul, Oline Callens, Castell, Joel Wesley “Bilbo”, and Billy Ray Clark.

Survivors include his daughter Belinda Michelle Clark, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
