Funeral Services celebrating the life of Walter “Unkie” Billingsley of St. Joseph, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Dr. in West Monroe, with Rev. K. Dewayne Butler officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation 1:00 PM until time of service at the Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held at 12:30PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Walter was born on May 13, 1939 and passed from this life on February 8, 2020 at the age of 80.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Billingsley; parents, James and Vivian Billingsley; brothers, Carroll E. Billingsley, and James Billingsley.
Those left the cherish his memories include; his brother Coil L. Billingsley, and Jerry C. Billingsley; sisters, Deborah F. Kennedy, and Benda K. Williams; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers Include: James Kennedy, Kirk Southern, Keith Butler, Jeffery Stevens, Jamie Ferrington, and Brian Billingsley.
Honorary Pallbearers include: Rance Robinson and Jimmy Williams.
