Obituary for Vickie Jeanette Lovett (Bennett)
Funeral service celebrating the life of Ms. Vickie Lovett, 63, of West Monroe, will be Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home-West Monroe, with Bro. Phillip Bedenbender officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Baptist Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, 12pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Vickie was born on January 6, 1957 and passed from this life on February 10, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances Bennett; brother, Merton B. Bennett Sr.; sister, Lynnette Bennett; two sons, Frankie and Brandon Hoy and daughter, Stephanie Hoy. She was an LPN at Glenwood Hospital for over 30 years and loved taken care of her birds. Vickie loved animals so much she took in a baby fawn into her home and raised it, then helped deliver her off spring of two male fawns.
Survivors left to cherish her memories include her son, Roy Hoy Jr.; brother, Sig Lett and wife Brenda and sister, Martha Barnes and husband Billy.
Pallbearers to honor the memory of Ms. Vickie Lovett will be Roy Hoy Jr., Daniel Naron, Donny Furlow, Eric Williams, Jamey Hill, Tommy Weems and Brian Tarver.
