A memorial gathering for Mrs. Velma Lee Crutchfield of Monroe, LA will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe.
Mrs. Crutchfield was born April 8, 1944 in Lake Village, AR and passed from this life on April 16, 2019 in Monroe, LA at the age of 75. She loved to crochet and was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmar Crutchfield, Sr.; her parents, Andrew and Lela Parnell; and one brother, Billy Wayne Parnell.
Survivors include their children, Dottie Bailey of Delhi, Elmar Crutchfield, Jr. of Ruston, Janell Crutchfield Nugent and husband, Jay of Monroe, Alicia Crutchfield Harris of Crossett, AR; two sisters, Virginia Wyant and husband, Archie of Columbia, and Georgia Sivils of New Mexico; five grandchildren, Jody O’Bier, II, Wayne O’Bier, Jaycob Nugent, Ethan Crutchfield and Zoey Harris; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
