Obituary for Topsy Mae Spillers
Funeral service celebrating the life of Topsy Mae Spillers of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Pleasant Valley Assembly of God near Downsville. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Friday, January 3, 2020 from 5pm-8pm at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Topsy was born April 5, 1933 and passed from this life on January 1, 2020 at the age of 86.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Golden Patrick; husband of 67 years, Gilbert Spillers;
Daughter, Nona Gail Sawyer.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Pamula Spivey and husband Mike, Marsha Turner, Regina “Crazy” Burkett; five grandchildren, Jamie Spillers and wife Heather, Shane Spillers, Jason Turner and wife Stacie, Tonya Williams and husband Tracy, Doug Rogers, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
