Obituary for Tommye Carolyn Brister Tonneson
Celebration of life for Mrs. Tommye Carolyn Brister Tonneson of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Whites Ferry Road Church with Paul Stephens officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation 12pm until time of service at the church.
Tommye was born March 31, 1949 and passed from this life December 3, 2020 at the age of 71.
She was a retired social worker, loved painting and decorating, she enjoyed doing floral arrangements and planning weddings, she had a big heart for serving others and would help those less fortunate, Tommye was a member of Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Mattie Brister, and brother, Joe Brister.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 40 years, Richard Tonneson, daughter, Jo Erin Perkins and husband Tommy, two sons, Brad Tonneson and wife Sarah, and Ryan Tonneson, and sister, Susan Bedwell and husband Rick; also survived by four grandchildren, Jack and Hollen Tonneson, and Avalynn and Caroline Perkins, special daughter, Rhonda Arnold, Special son, Bruce Ezell, and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to World Radio and One Kingdom, ministries of Whites Ferry Road Church.
