Obituary for Tommy McClain
Funeral services for Tommy McClain, Sr. will be held Thursday, February 23,2023 at 2: 00 P.M. at Center Point Baptist Church, 608 Winnfield Rd., West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22,2023 from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the church. Interment will be at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery, 608 Winnfield Rd. West Monroe, LA.
Mr. McClain was born June 11, 1939 and passed away February 17, 2023 at the age of 83. Mr. McClain was a member of Center Point Baptist Church where he came to know Jesus at the age of 74. Tommy was a retired plumber for the Ouachita Parish School Board for 33 years. He also served 43 years in the Louisiana National Guard, Sargent First Class E7. He enjoyed hanging out with his buddies on weekends, at the hunting club or fishing camp. He loved his kids, grandkids and great grandkids very much, but the love of hiis life of 62 years was his wife Paulette. Tommy never met a stranger and he would give his last dollar to anyone in need. If he were hear today, he would say God Bless You and he truly meant it. He will forever be in his family's heart. He was their Hero!
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Paulette, his parents Joe Thomas and Elizabeth McClain, Brother James (PeeWee) and Brother Charles McClain and Sister Sherry Ann McClain.
Surviving relatives are sons-Joey McClain and Stevie McClain (Kristi) daughters- Donna McClain, Kerri Sonnier, Tracy Hilburn (Nick), brother- Jerry McClain (Sharon), Ronnie McClain.
Pallbearers will be Richie Henderson, Roger Henderson, Michael Hatten, Chris Gasca, Jonathon McClain, Dustin McClain.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Henderson and Nicky Hilburn
