Obituary for Theresa Dawn Jones
Funeral Service for Theresa Dawn Jones will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1:00 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, La. Visitation will be from 11:00 until time of service. Interment will be at Mill Creek Cemetery in Saline, LA.
Mrs. Jones was born January 17, 1967 in Natchitoches, LA and passed away February 6, 2023 at the age of 56. She was a Godly and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a great sense of humor, you never knew what was going to come out of her mouth (you could say her filter was broken); she was a very outgoing person and loved doing all sorts of do-it-yourself projects; she could turn all sorts of junk into treasures. She enjoyed helping her fiance’, Robert, remodel their home. She loved her children and family; she loved Jesus and found great joy in telling others about Christ. Theresa was an overly generous person who would give you the shirt off her back. She was a “Martha” in a “Mary” type world, she was always looking for something to do for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents-Leonard Harper and Linda Sebren.
She was survived by her fiance’ Robert Gill; children, Ashley Deese (Cody), Vincent Zito (Vannesa), Brittney Zito (Remi); siblings; Robin Harper and Corey Harper. Grandchildren- Alec, Miranda, Marissa, Zae, Remi, Xaiver, Catalina. Great-grandchildren-Landry and Rowen. One very special nephew Jeremy Jarrell and numerous other nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Matt Stewart, Cody Deese, Austin Storm, Paul Jarrell, Remi Rosales and Mason Hagan.
The children would like to extend a special thank you to Jason Bradshaw for the love and compassion he has shown to them during this difficult season.
