Funeral services for Mr. Terry Wayne Lenard of West Monroe, LA will be 10:00am Thursday, August 22, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe with Rev. Nathan Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens in West Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the funeral home.
Mr. Lenard was born April 12, 1957 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on August 19, 2019 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 62. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching hunting television shows. He loved music, especially country music, and enjoyed spending time with family. His grandkids were his life. Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, J.W. Lenard; his mother, Dorothy Lenard; and one sister, Phena Sullivan.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, LaRhonda Lenard of West Monroe; two sons, Jason Lenard and Justin Lenard, both of West Monroe; one sister, Debra Trichel and husband David R. of Monroe; three grandchildren, Harley Lenard, Jason Lenard, Jr. and Jurnee Lenard; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Teddy Guidry, Robert Linder, Ricky Hendricks, Joey Brown, David Womack and Jared Trichel.
