Memorial services for Ms. Teresa Susan Thompson will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, April 1, 2022 at Christ Church in West Monroe, LA with Father George Gennuso officiating.

She was born September 4, 1960 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on March 29, 2022 at her home in Monroe.

Susan was a drug prevention specialist who enjoyed sewing and reading. When she wasn’t rocking babies or entertaining family, you could find her watching Steel Magnolia’s with her girls and always drinking lots of coffee.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Tew.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her daughters, Rebekka Renne Thompson (Cody Cardinal) and Ashlyn Kate Thompson; mother, Faye Tew; sister, Lyn Bowden and husband Robert; brother, Steve Tew and wife Nanci Summersgill; the father of her children, Joseph “Joe” Thompson; stepdaughter, Kayla Pierpont.

Also left to cherish her memory includes three grandchildren, Hayden Ford, Wyatt Ford, and Bentleigh Pierpont; nieces and nephews, Lacee (Josh) Brown, Spencer Brown, Brady Brown, Lauren Bowden, Jamie Bowden, Margaret Summersgill Burns, and David Summersgill. She also had two very close friends, Bobby Hamilton and Kristi Thomas.

The family would like to invite those attending the memorial service to wear colors that invoke happiness to best help remember the smile she brought to everyone’s face.
