Ms. Susie Blackwell was born September 17, 1942, in Tulsa, OK and passed from this life on April 12, 2022 at her home in West Monroe, LA at the age of 79.

Ms. Susie was a member of Faith United Methodist and Jimmy Swaggart Assembly of God. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed going to the Casino for entertainment.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Blackwell; father, Ray Artinger; stepmother, Pat Artinger.

Also left to cherish her memory includes her daughter, Brandy Ellis and husband Chris; six grandchildren, Destiny Borden and husband Rodney, Nathan Ellis, Christina Adcock, Jim Harrison, Ryan Harrison, Justin Williams; seven great grandchildren, Courtney, Abby and husband John, Brylei, Jamison, Neena, Waylon, and Weston; four great great grandchildren, Eli, Isabella, Braxton, and Nova.
