Mrs. Sue North, 89, of West Monroe, LA was born on June 27, 1931 and passed from this life on July 5, 2020. Memorial services for Ms. Sue will be held at a later date.
“Nana” is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Minnie Dowdy; husband, James B. North; sons, Mike and Ricky North; sister, Dorothy Dowdy Williams; brother, DeWayne Dowdy.
Survivors left to cherish her memories include her son, Marcus North, and wife Patty; five grandchildren, Lisa North Simmons and husband Charlie of West Monroe, LA; Jamie North and wife Aimee of West Monroe, LA, Casey North Averitt and husband Jon of West Monroe, LA, Mindy North Coplen and husband Scott of Fort Collins, CO; Austin North and wife Georgiana from West Monroe, LA; daughter in law, Lois North of West Monroe, LA; thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She also had a very special friend and helper, Rickey Hood.
