Obituary for Steve Mitchell Crain
Memorial service celebrating the life of Steve Mitchell Crain of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, November 28, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe with Rev. Neil Everett and Woods Watson officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 12pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Steve was born March 23, 1959 and passed from this life November 19, 2020 at the age of 61.
Steve enjoyed fishing, Saints and LSU football and was a member of First Baptist Church, Calhoun.
He is preceded in death by his father, Morris Ray Crain, mother, Shirley Marie Crain, and his sister, Connie Sue Hodnett.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Stacy Stuart Crain, of West Monroe; daughter, Sara Dodson of Nashville, TN., stepchildren, Richie Smith of West Monroe, Angel Smith of Monroe, and Sierra Smith of West Monroe; siblings, Kathy Reed (Roy) of Lake Jackson, TX, Denise Tuell (Rick) of Tyler, TX, Debbie Lieber (Don) of West Monroe, Doug Crain (Jean) of Vixen, LA; also survived by ten grandchildren, beloved pet, Missy, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
