Obituary for Stancil Taylor Lowery Jr.
Funeral Services for Mr. Stancil Taylor Lowery, Jr., age 77, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Cheniere Baptist Church with Bro. Bodie Spicer officiating. Interment will follow at Cheniere Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Sunday, June 14, 2020 from 1pm until time of service at the church.
Mr. Lowery retired from the Ouachita Parish School Board as a mechanic in September 1992. He began security work in July 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center and retired in December 2010. He was a member of the Cheniere Baptist Church in West Monroe and a longtime resident of Ouachita Parish and Union Parish.
Mr. Lowery is preceded in death by his Father, Stancil Taylor Lowery, Sr.; Mother, Audrey Inez Russell, and beloved stepfather, James Rease Russell.
Survivors include: wife, Jewel Lowery of West Monroe; daughter, Donna Criswell, of Memphis, TN; son, Paul Lowery and wife Vanessa, of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Michelle Greer and husband Jeffrey of West Monroe, LA; son, Michael Bickford and wife Tammy of Start LA; five granddaughters, Shannon and Kristen Launius of Memphis, TN, Kaylee Lowery of Ft. Worth, TX, and Keira Lowery of Shreveport, LA; and Hannah Bickford of Start, LA; four grandsons, Devin Greer and wife Bridgette of West Monroe, LA, and Zachary, Evan and Caleb Bickford of Start, LA; two great-grandchildren, Haven (Buzz) of Memphis, TN; Ellie Greer of West Monroe, LA Pallbearers will be Devin Greer, Zachary Bickford, Evan Bickford, Michael Bickford, Jeff Greer, and Jamie Hudnall.
