Obituary for Shirley Ann McGuyer
Funeral Service celebrating the life of Shirley Ann McGuyer of Choudrant, LA will be held at 11:00am, Friday, September, 18, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, with Paul White officiating.
Interment will follow New Hope Cemetery in Choudrant, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
Shirley was born July 9, 1945 and passed from this life September 16, 2020 at the age of 75.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Frances Dumas; husband, Leon McGuyer; son in law, Hal Roy; sister in law, Linda Dumas.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Vickey (Leon) Currington, Tina Aulds, and Connie Roy; two sons, Paul McGuyer, and Michael (Emily) McGuyer; two sisters, Nell (Keith) George, and Marguerite (Curtis) Otwell; two brothers, Oscar Ragen Dumas, and Robert (Liz) Dumas; also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
