The family will receive friends for visitation, November 5, 2019 from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.

Sandra D. Griffin, 71, of West Monroe, LA. Passed from her earthly body on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She was born in Monroe, LA to her parents, Carley Augustus Dye and Sybil J. Dye on September 30, 1948.

Sandra retired from Glenwood Regional Medical Center where she diligently served patients as a tech for 16 years in the sleep study lab. Prior to that she worked 19 years at St. Francis Medical Center.
Sandra, also known as "MeMe," was a very quiet person. She enjoyed cooking for her "four boys" and their families. She enjoyed nothing more than having her entire family under one roof whether it be celebrating a holiday or just spending time with them.

She loved her family more than any other mother and grandmother could. She will be terribly missed by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carley and Sybil Dye; three brothers, C.A. Dye, Jimmy Dye, and Randall Dye; and son, Bobby Griffin; and grandson, Bryan Foster.

She is survived by three sons, Tony Griffin, Sr. of West Monroe, LA, Robbi Griffin and wife Jana of Swartz, LA, and Rodney Griffin; eight grandchildren, Ashley Raney and husband Michael, Haley Griffin, Lauren Griffin and husband Nick, Amber Griffin, Dillon Bull, Tony Griffin, Jr., Karli Griffin, and Allyson Griffin; nine great-grandchildren, Michael Ponsell, Harley Griffin, Gracie Raney, Zoie Dear, Michaela Raney, Delaney Dear, Colten Griffin, Maverick Dear, and Tripp Griffin. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Sandra was always smiling and in a good mood when I saw her here at Glenwood. I'm sure the sleep lab was never the same after she retired.
Praying for family and friends.
