Obituary for Ryan Anthony Mims
Funeral service for Ryan Mims, 18 of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, November 8, 2019 at Harvest Assembly of God Church West Monroe, LA with Bro.Terry Mims officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Thursday, November 7, 2019, 5pm – 9pm at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Ryan was born July 13, 2001 and passed from this life on November 4, 2019 at the age of 18.
He loved to fish, hunt, and scuba dive and was skilled at video games. Ryan is truly loved and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Ryan is preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Connie Mims, Gloria Grant; great-grandfather, Alvin Ramsey; cousins, Jamie Stapleton, and Tony Searcy.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Billy “Bo” Mims III, and Mary Ramsey; grandparents, Billy Mims, Jr. and Donnie Mims, Tom and Brenda Ramsey, and Rory and Brenda Kenly; great-grandfather, Billy Mims, Sr.; Aunt, Kristy Buffington and husband Josh, Ashley Howard and husband Michael.
Close friends and Brothers, Dakoda Nickarz, Josh Mims, and Corey Williams; sister, Emma Simpson; Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and a host of extended friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Dakoda Nickarz, Tanner Crawford, Jeff Mims, Connor Broussard, Dakota Green, Corey Williams.
Honorary pallbearer will be Hunter Millwood.
