Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Nell Neal of Bastrop, LA will be 11:00am Friday, August 16, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe, LA with Rev. Johnny Legg officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens in West Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Neal was born November 19, 1941 in Farmerville, LA and passed from this life on August 13, 2019 in Bastrop, LA at the age of 77. She was a licensed florist and achieved a major in horticulture. She loved gardening, spending time outdoors, and most of all, spending time with her children. She was a loving mother, a friend to all who met her and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Neal; and her parents, Edward and Della Meeks.
Survivors include her daughter, Angelia Neal and husband, Roger Lowery of Bastrop; her siblings, Bobbie J. Meeks of Monroe, Edward G. Meeks, Jr. and wife, Melinda of Tulsa, OK, and Wanda Lou Meeks Burton and husband, Michael of Little Rock, AR; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
