Obituary for Ruby Dianne Hodge
Funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Dianne Hodge will be held at 2:00pm, Friday January 31, 2020 at Christian Life Church, 6680 Frontage Rd. Monroe, LA, with Pastor Danny Chance officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation from 1pm until time of service at the church.
Mrs. Dianne Hodge was born on August 28, 1947 and passed from this life on January 28, 2020 at the age of 72. She enjoyed spending her time quilting and crocheting but most of all loving on her grands and great-grands. Her love for Jesus radiated through her selfless and giving spirit. She lived modestly but she gave generously and without reservation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Ruby Evans; and brother, James “JM” Marshall Evans.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 55 years, Jerry Hodge of Monroe, LA; son, Paul J. Hodge of Monroe, LA; son, Darren Keith Hodge and wife Michelle of Forney, TX; daughter, Ambra Hoffman and husband Eric of Bossier City, LA; brother, Harvey Evans Jr. "Buddy" of West Monroe, LA; brother Donald Evans of West Monroe, LA; sister, Marie Evans-Sheppert of West Monroe, LA; sister, Doris Thomasie of West Monroe, LA; brother, Chester Evans of MS; brother, Duncan Evans of West Monroe, LA; also survived by ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
