Obituary for Roy Gene "Tinker" Jarrell
Memorial service celebrating the life of Roy Gene “Tinker” Jarrell of Monroe, LA
Will be held at 4:00pm, Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home,
911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 2pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Roy was born February 13, 1961 and passed from this life on February 17, 2020 at the age of 59.
He was a resident of Jackson parish then later moved to Monroe, LA with his family.
He loved NASCAR racing, most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Casey and Geneva Jarrell; brothers, Larry Alloway, and Casey O’neal; step-son, Tyler Edwards; special dog, Roddy.
Those left to cherish his memories include is his wife and best friend of 27 years, May Jarrell; brother, Mike Jarrell; sister, Carolyn Jackson; step-children, Erin Muranovic, and Eric Edwards; sister in-laws, Martha Humphries, Anita Jarrell; mother in-law, Debbie Herrick; special friend, Phil Phillips; special caregiver, Jenny Erwin; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
