Obituary for Rosie Lee Henry
Graveside service for Rosie Lee Henry, 69 of West Monroe, LA., will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Wilhite Cemetery, Downsville, LA. With Chaplain Ricky Baker leading in prayer.
Rosie was born November 19, 1952, in West Monroe, LA., and passed from this life October 20, 2022, at her home with family and friends by her side.
Rosie graduated from West Monroe High School in 1970 and went to work for Ford Bacon and Davis and made many life-long friends… from there went to Houston and worked over 30 years in a prestigious law firm. Rosie had good work ethic, but a better life ethic. Everyone was welcome at her lake house which she loved tending to for friends’ cookouts, crawfish boils and numerous events.
She retired to her lake house for a few years before moving back to her hometown West Monroe.
Rosie is preceded in death by parents, Reacy and Angie Henry; sister, Patty Kinney; paternal grandparents, Jack and Susie Henry; maternal grandparents, Peter and Lena Cipriano.
Survivors include sisters, Suzanne Britnell and husband, Steve, Lena Bryant; brother, Peter Henry; aunt, Mary Moore; uncles, Peter Cipriano, Bobby Cipriano and wife, Jeanette, and numerous nieces and nephews.
