A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019, 3:00 PM at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kelley, with Rev. Scott Jennings officiating. Mrs. Kelley, a software analyst, who also worked at the Dixie Theater in Ruston for many years, was born on October 16, 1959 to the union of Edgar and Mary Rose Carnes, and passed from this life on December 16, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-laws, Virginia and Rev. V.G, Kelley; and brother-in-law, Michael Bohannon. Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband of 22 years, Jim Kelley; daughters, Sonya Alvis and husband Lenwood, and Victoria Cheree’ Scanlon and husband Dean; sons, Jimmy Clayton Kelley II and wife Julie, John Riley Blake, and Jesse James Fields and wife Kelsey; three sisters, and one brother. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
