Obituary for Ronnie Dale Young Sr.
Funeral service celebrating the life of Ronnie Dale Young, Sr. of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00am, Friday, February 14, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation 9am until time of service at the funeral home.
Ronnie was born October 22, 1945 and passed from this life on February 10, 2020 at the age of 74.
Ronnie was an outdoorsman and loved the great outdoors, hunting and fishing, he was also a butcher for 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward C. Young and Flora Head Harvey; brother, Gary Michael Young.
Survivors include his children, Ronnie Dale Young, Jr., William Gary Young and wife Amy Ann, and Adrena Young; Marcus Lane Young; brother, Dusty Rhodes; sisters, Sue Truelove, and Wanda McDaniel; also survived by twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
