Obituary for Robert "Rob" Clifton Atkins
Funeral services for Mr. Robert “Rob” Clifton Atkins of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Monday, April 19, 2021 at Wesley Chapel in West Monroe with Bro. Marvin Wink and Michael Gates officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery near West Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service Monday at the church.
Robert “Rob” Clifton Atkins was born on July 28, 1961 and went home to be with his Lord on April 16, 2021.
Some may remember him from his past, but his family and friends choose to remember and love him from his new life which began on October 26, 2014, when he surrendered his life in baptism and the old was washed away and the new arose.
Rob’s passions included working hand and hand with his son, loving and aggravating his grandkids, being a jeep junky along with dirt track racing and his racing family.
Rob, you will be greatly missed here on earth but rest assured, we will all be reunited again in God’s perfect timing.
