Obituary for Robert Leroy Primm, Sr.
Funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Robert Leroy Primm, Sr. of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, May 1, 2021 at New Life Apostolic Church, West Monroe, with Pastor Tommy McMurray officiating. Interment will follow at Olla Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation Friday, April 29, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the church.
Robert “The Tamale Man,” sold tamales, watermelons, tomatoes, pickles, sweet potatoes, and peaches, most of all he loved to talk about God.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Gladys Primm, wife, Mary Madaline Williams Primm, daughter, Mary Ann Primm, siblings, Evelyn Henselwood, Wilford Primm, Patricia Valentine, and Larry Primm.
Those left to cherish his memory includes wife, Alice, Primm, children, Tommy Primm Sr. and wife, Wanda, Peggy Bouwell and Dennis, Gladys Lott and Jay, Robert L Primm Jr. and Diane Primm, Rebecca Primm. 19 grandchildren, (too many to name names) 59 great grandchildren, and one great-great, granddaughter. also survived by a host of extended family church and friends.
Pallbearers include Allen Primm, Aaron Evans, Jonathan Ferguson, Caleb Williams, Michael Bouwell, Jr., Jesse Hamric, and Robert Castillo.
