Obituary for Robert Wayne Lacas
Funeral service celebrating the life of Robert Wayne Lacas of Chatham, La will be held at 2:00pm, May 11, 2020 at Caney Lake Baptist Church in Chatham. Family will receive friends for visitation 12pm until time of service at the church.
Interment will follow at Caney Lake Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Robert was born July 6, 1946 and passed from this life May 7, 2020 at the age of 73.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Barbara Lacas; his wife of almost 54 years, Marilyn Lacas; grand-daughter, Staci Pepper; one brother, and one sister.
Those left to cherish his memories include his three daughters, Rhonda Spells and husband Danny; Sheila Patton and husband Michael; Mary Smith and husband Curtis; two brothers, Jimmy Lacas, and Chris Lacas; four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; also survived by a special daughter, Dionne Chamblee and host of extended family and friends.
