A memorial service for Mr. Richard Patterson, 62, Downsville, will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home-West Monroe. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 3:00 PM, at the funeral home.
Mr. Patterson, a construction contractor, was born on November 7, 1957 to the union of Richard Henry Patterson and Donna Sutherland Patterson in Webb City, MO, and passed from this life on January 19, 2020, in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Donna Patterson; wife, Nancy Patterson; brother, Terry Lee Trammell; sister, Marsha Dale LeDet; great-grandson, William James Melton; and nephew, Daniel Holden, Jr.
Survivors left to cherish the memory of Mr. Patterson are his daughter, Barbara Melton and husband Dwayne of Pine Top, AZ; brother, Roy Trammell of Calhoun, LA; two sisters, Linda Channel of Joplin, MO and Leisha Holden and husband Dan of Carthage, MO; grand-sons, Brandon Patterson and wife Aiko, Gage Melton and wife Grace, and Tristin Melton; and great-grandchildren, Kaden Melton and Emma Melton.
Honorary pallbearers to honor the memory of Mr. Patterson will be Brock Trammell, Titus Trammell, Robert Calhoun, Dan Holden, Brandon Patterson, Andrew Holden, and Anthony Holden.
