Obituary for Prather Lamar Clowers
Friends and family gathering for Mr. Prather Lamar Clowers of West Monroe, LA will be held from
5-8pm, Friday, July 26, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Clowers loved hunting, fishing, four-wheel riding, and spending time outdoors.
He also served in the Marine Corps.
Prather was born November 12, 1952 and passed from this life on July 23, 2019 at the age of 66.
He is preceded in death by his father Prayther Jackson Clowers, and nephew “Danny Boy” Hester.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children; Carrie Becton and husband Kevin, Lela Clowers, and Chadwick Clowers and wife Tonya; five sisters, Betty McKaskle and husband Jerry, Diane Smith and husband Mickey, Linda Hale and husband Kent, Jan Newell and husband Chris, Lisa Foster and husband Courtney; two brothers, Larry Clowers, Jackie Clowers and wife Kara; mother, Mildred Caughlin and husband Brooks; three grandchildren, Jessie Kaye Clowers, Hayden Becton, and Lane Clowers; Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
