Graveside service for Pete E. Jones, Jr. will be held at 10:00am Friday, December 30, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA with Bro. Tony Littleton officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Griffin Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA.
Pete E. Jones, Jr. was born on May 5, 1942 and passed from this life on December 24, 2022 at the age of 80. He enjoyed hunting. Pete was a marine corps veteran and a master plumber.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Elle J. Jones; his parents, Pete Jones Sr. and Chloie Jones; and his son, Jason S. Jones.
Those left to remember him include his son, Stacey Jones; daughter-in-law, Kim Jones (Jason) of Calhoun, LA; grandchildren, Ashleigh Jones (Michael), Gage Jones, Hunner Jones, Remie Jones, Kaitlyn Mitchell (Chris), and Jamie Jones (Cooper); great grandchildren, Oaklee Mitchell, Colt Michell, Roman Sturgill, Wren Sturgill, and Miller Jones; sisters Brenda and Helen; and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gage Jones, Hunner Jones, Chris Mitchell, Cooper Bragg, Dakotah Sims, Blaine Sims, and Marc Peary.
