Obituary for Pearl Dewitt Robinson
Funeral services for Pearl “Dewitt” Robinson will be held at 10:00am on March 16, 2023 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Roger Stoffer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Mr. Robinson was born on June 12, 1935 and passed from this life on March 11, 2023, at the age of 87. He enjoyed going to church. Pearl loved his family, going to hunt and fish, and to joke around with everyone around him.
He is preceded by his loving wife of 51 years, Doris A Corbin Robinson; daughter, Susan J. Robinson; parents Bob and Willie Mae Robinson; daughter’s-in-law, Bertha Robinson and Mary Easterling; step children, J.B. Easterling, Betty Jo Easterling, and Max Easterling; brother, Johnny Robinson; sisters, Betty Sue Fautheree, Anna Cassels, and Bobbie Chapman.
Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Robert Robinson of Swartz, LA; daughters, Angie Balch and husband Jimmy of Swartz, LA and Rhonda Krickel and husband David of West Monroe, LA; step daughters, Aline Kindrix and husband Roy of West Monroe, LA, Mary Alice Hurst and husband Bobbie of Osyka, MS, and Jackie Martinez and husband Kenneth of Swartz, LA; sisters, Pat Fender and husband Tom of Lake Providence, LA, Faye Sullivan and Jean Tullos of Kilbourne, LA; brother, Ed Robinson of Cheyenne, WY; long time friend, Marolyn Williamson; 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 28 great great grandchildren , and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Balch, Chad Balch, Michael Krickel, Robert Stevens Jr., and Louis Krickel. Honorary pallbearer will be James “Bimbo” Chapman.
