Paulette McClain, 78, of West Monroe, passed away August 18, 2022, at her residence in West Monroe.
Born in Monroe, LA on March 22, 1944, to the late Lloyd Chambless and Ruby Johnson.
Paulette had a heart of gold. She loved all her children, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren; but most of all she loved Tommy, her loving husband of 62 years and 11 months. Mrs. Paulette always found a reason to smile even through the darkest of days. She was a member of Center Point Baptist Church. Paulette will be greatly missed and will forever be in her family’s and friends’ hearts.
She is predeceased by her parents, Lloyd Chambless and Ruby Johnson, her stepfather Johnny Johnson, and her sister Inez Horn.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Joe McClain Sr., her children, Donna McClain, Kerri Sonnier, Joey McClain, Tracy Hilburn (Nicky) and Stephen McClain and a son-in-law Roger Henderson; her siblings, Ervin Chambless (Marilyn), Lonnie Chambless, Ronnie Chambless, Lisa Norman, and Kay Lifsey; 25 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
