Private family memorial services for Mr. Paul Ray Carlton of West Monroe will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Carlton was born December 6, 1959 in Fort Stockton, TX and passed from this life on April 5, 2021 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 61. He served served in the United States Air Force, and loved to work on computers and cars. He was a rock to his family, he was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Eleanor Carlton; one daughter, Tara Le’Na; one son, Nelson Wyrick; six brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Paula A. Carlton of West Monroe; his children, Anna Zeigler and husband, Louis of Farmerville, Alysha Carlton of Gonzales; Stephanie Carlton Nguyen of Lafayette, and Renea L. Carlton of West Monroe; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and Ouida Childress of West Monroe; also survived by eight grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her memory to Griffin Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
