Funeral service for Patricia Ann Weaver of Salt Lake, Utah, will be held at 1:30pm, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bother Dan Roundy officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation 10:00am until time of service at the church.
Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Sikes, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Patricia Ann King Weaver was born on January 4, 1943 in Pittsburg, TX. She passed on January 30.2020 in Riverton, UT.
Patricia or “Pat” was born in Pittsburg, TX and grew up in the surrounding area. She moved to West Monroe, LA as a young adult where she married and had a family. Her life took her on many adventures where she made many friends. With Pat, friends became family. She moved back to Texas where she lived for most of her life. She helped raise her nephew as her own and through the years she opened her home and heart to many souls needing an Angel in their lives. She remarried, and she and her husband helped raise two grand-daughters. Pat was a caregiver for the last 23 years of her life until her illness progressed too much. The last few years she lived in Louisiana and Ut where her four children cared for her until she passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Pat was an avid reader and gifted storyteller. Her house was always full of kids!
She is preceded in death by her husband James Weaver; ex-husband Neal Longino; and parents Glendon “Pete” King and Zelma Marsh.
Those left to cherish her memories include her brother Terry King; sister Star King; son, David and wife Stephanie Longino; daughter, Leea Longino; son, Jason Longino; daughter, Jenny and husband Mark Westooer; grandchildren, Josh, Loron, Karah, Cody, Andy, Tony, Jennifer, Leanna, Jaycie, Charles, Daniel, Macy, Elizabeth, and Samuel; niece, Jp; niece, Treasure; and a host of extended family and friends.
