Private family gathering for Patricia Anne Davenport of West Monroe, LA will be held at a later date, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Patricia was born December 13, 1949 and passed from this life December 2, 2020 at the age of 70.
Patricia Anne Davenport, age 70, passed away peacefully December 2, 2020 due to cancer. She was born in Maricavo, Venezuela to Louil Preston Beach and Ava Christine Beach on December 13, 1949.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Beach and her parents.
Family and friends knew her as simply Anne or Momma Bear. She was always quick to offer advice or help in any way she knew how.
She loved asian food but alot spicy and she would let you know if you stepped out of line. She was a faithful and mighty woman of God.
Her joy was in Christ and helping if she could. She would give scriptures weather you want to hear it or not and tell you take it or leave it, and if your feeling froggy jump or keep your mouth shut.
She led a fulfilling life including her two boys Jack and Jason. She was willing to try new things. She was a Navy Veteran. Her favorite scripture was dependent on who was there, but basically the message was Jesus. Romans 10:13, Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Jack and Jason Davenport and sister Gwendolyn Sue.
