Funeral service for Niki Pollard, 47, of Monroe, will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Burdeaux, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

Niki, a medical transcriptionist, was born on August 11, 1972 in West Monroe to the union of James and Gloria Hendrix Parker, and passed from this life on October 20, 2019 in Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Pollard.

Niki loved art, her dogs, and most of all spending time with her family, who will miss her dearly.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her parents, James and Gloria Parker; sister, Jamie Wise; nephews, Tanner Wise and Tucker Wise, both of whom brought her so much joy. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her fury companions, Mattie Joe and April.

Pallbearers to honor Niki will be Gerald Hendrix, Greg Hendrix, Curt Hendrix, Scotty Hendrix, Roger Berry, and Bo Hatten.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the church.
