Obituary for Myrtle M. Fowler
Funeral service celebrating the life of Myrtle M. Fowler of Calhoun, La will be held at 10:00am, Friday, April 23, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA with Bro. Jimmy Masters officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Vallery Family Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Myrtle was born December 25, 1935 and passed from this life April 19, 2021 at the age of 85.
She is preceded in death by her parents Timothy and Jesse Vallery, husband, Richard Fowler, daughter, Beth Doyle, two sisters, Rose Bryan and Ella Hibbard, brother, Oliver Vallery, Amos Vallery, and Joe Vallery.
Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, James and John Fowler, brother, Lenard Vallery, five grandchildren and their spouses, ten great grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews that she loved so much; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers include Phillip Vallery, Jonathan Vallery, Andy Vallery, Logan Fowler, Dave Callaway, Rodney Powell.
Honorary pallbearers include Joel Vallery and Justin Sutton
