Graveside service for Michael Wayne Carpenter of Haughton, LA will be held at 12:00pm, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Holmesville Baptist Church Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 10am until 11am, at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.

Michael was born November 13, 2014 and passed from this life July 24, 2020 at the age of 5.
He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather Clifton Carpenter.

Survivors include his mother, Tiera Mooney of West Monroe, and father, Daniel Carpenter of Haughton; sisters, Reese Snell of West Monroe, Riley Mooney of West Monroe; brothers, Cameron Guitrie, and Mason Carpenter, both of West Monroe;also including paternal grandparents, Robert Carpenter and wife Melissa of Midlothian, TX, Gill Johnson of MS, Sherri Yance of Virginia, maternal grandparents, Michelle Mooney of West Monroe, great-grandma, Sherry Gibbons of West Monroe; paternal great-grandparents, James and Gayle Brooks of Downsville; uncles, James Mooney, and Logan Carpenter; aunts, Dakota Carpenter, Cheyenne Carpenter; paternal great-grandparents, Ruth and Ed Norton; also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family and friends.
