Funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Michael Bouwell, Sr. of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, September 7, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, with Bro. Mack Belmore officating.
Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 5pm - 8pm, sunday, September 6, 2020 at the funeral home.

Michael was born June 30, 1958 and passed from this life September 4, 2020 at the age of 62.
He is preceded in death by father, Lawerance Elmer Bouwell; mother, June Carlie Lenard Bouwell, and brother, Benny Bouwell.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Tammy Darnell Bouwell; his children, Carolyn Williams, Michael Bouwell, Jr., Adam Bass, Christopher Bass, Bobby Joe Bouwell, Claude A. Bouwell; step-children, Ashley Darnell, and Hailey Gifford; brothers, Dennis Bouwell, Donald Bouwell, Larry Bouwell, Gerald Bouwell, Tommy Bouwell, and Kenneth Bouwell; sister, Sandra Schmitt, and Barbara Bass; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers include: Michael Bouwell, Jr., Adam Bass, Donald Bouwell, Jr., Allen Primm, Christian Kukal, and Kenneth Ritchie.
