He is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Faye Patterson; parents, Fred and Ruby Patterson; sister, Virginia Lee Stanski; brother, Robert Lewis Patterson; son, Robert Maurice Patterson; and brother-in-law, Lonnie Wilhite.
Those left to cherish his memories include his sons, Rusty Patterson and wife Sandra of Monroe, LA, Gary Neal Patterson and fiancé Elaine of Lafayette, GA; brother, David Patterson and wife Terry of Columbia, LA; sister, Patty Wilhite of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Jennifer Patterson of Monroe, LA; Neal Patterson of GA; McClain Patterson of GA; Kay Dudley and husband Zack of Spearsville, LA; Steven Patterson of Monroe, LA; Caroline Griffith and husband Jeremiah of Georgia; Andrew Patterson of Monroe, LA; and five great grandchildren, Karli, Elijah, Lilly, Elias, Jackson; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
