Mary Thompson Wible passed away on September 13, 2019 at the age of 85. She was born in Pilot Point, Texas on October 6, 1933.

A public visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 1pm until time of service at Parkview Baptist Church,1001 Forsythe Ave. Monroe, LA with a memorial service at 2pm, November 9, 2019 at the church.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved by her family, her chosen girls, and her many friends. She had a great sense of humor and fun.
She had a deep and abiding faith which was passed on to her girls. It was a comfort to her and her family as her health declined. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

For many years she was the secretary at Central Baptist Church where she made many life-long friends. She came from a long line of great cooks. Family gatherings were filled with food, fun and laughter. The Thompson Family Cookbook was the result of these many family get-togethers. She was known as the Queen of the Red Velvet Cake. She was an avid quilter, something she enjoyed with her daughters and quilting friends. She was a long-time member of the North Louisiana Quilters Guild.

She was preceded in death by her husband and friend of 65 years, Donald Wayne Wible, her parents Joseph L. and Mary Cook Thompson, her brother Donald Ray Thompson, her sister and brother-in-law Nina and Glenn Cleveland, and her sister and brother-in-law Clara and Kenneth Tyler.

She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Wible and Karen Wible Bradford and her husband John Bradford; her two grandsons, Colton Bradford and his wife Amy, and their precious daughter Everly Ann and Jake Bradford; and her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Sabine Thompson of Fort Worth Texas, her sister-in-law Carolyn Thompson of Kemp, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a dear chosen great-granddaughter, Lexi, and her chosen quilting daughters, The Sopranos.
A memorial service of celebration of her life will be scheduled at a future date.

Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen, the American Cancer Society, Seeker Springs or the charity of your choice.
