Obituary for Mary Ruth Miceli
Funeral services for Ms. Mary Ruth Miceli will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Griffin Funeral Home located at 911 Warren Drive in West Monroe, LA with Bro Ron Lowe officiating. Family will accept friends for visitation from 8:00AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow later at Resthaven Mausoleum in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mary Ruth Miceli was born on December 31, 1934, in Hamburg, AR, and passed from this life on December 11, 2022, in Monroe, LA, at the age of 87. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on ceramics, spending time at her Camp in grand Aisle, but most of all, spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Joe Ford and Esther Adeline Slaughter; brothers and sisters, Margie White, Charles Ford, Marilyn Thompson, Tommy Ford, and JM Ford.
Those left to cherish her memories include her children, Jeanne Smith and Berry Monk; siblings, Cecil Ford, Vernon Ford, John Earl Ford, and Kathy Simpson.
She is also survived by two grandchildren Buffie Mann and husband John, and Christina Adkins and husband Kevin; one great granddaughter, Hailey Mann; and numerous cousins and extended family and friends.
