As I lie here, my body numb. My body a shell has become.
My spirit soars to the other side, leaving my family and friends to cry.
But everyone, hear me now, my life here has been good I really must say.
But you all know we go away to a beautiful kingdom that waits up high.
The love I carry makes my spirit fly away from my loved ones to the gates in the sky.
Just remember all of you, soon one day we will meet in the heavenly place
As I am welcomed with open arms, As I soar to the beautiful peace
As I see the beauty in front of me, my time has come for me to be free.
I see no pain or hurt there only peace and love there is no more fear,
So, friends and family remember me for right here is where I’ll be for I’m going home.
I love you all and for now don’t cry. I’m at rest and peace, for now I say goodby,
And I’ll see you all again on the other side.
