Obituary for Mary "Helen" Price
Funeral service celebrating the life of Mary "Helen" Price will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, August 29, 2022 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA., with Bro. Glenn Price officiating.
Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation 11:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
Helen, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother was born October 2, 1935 and passed from this life August 27, 2022 at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Price, son, Wesley (Betty) Price, brother, Pete Jone, and grandson, Karl Everette Price.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sharon (Tommy) Christie, Carolyn (Ray) Dennis, siblings, Kay Andrews, Earsell Daniels, Harold Jones, Linda Gail Rawls, Brenda Goodman, and Diane Nettles; Three grandchildren, Alyene (Blake) Leslie, Mary (Sammy) Mendez, and Nicole Hale; eight great-grandchildren, Sophie Mendez, Samuel Mendez, Josiah Leslie, Beth Leslie, Rebecca Leslie, Sarah Leslie, Benjamin Hale, and Aiden Breaux; Also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers serving include Samuel Mendez, Sammy Mendez, Benjamin Hale, Glenn Price, Ray Dennis, Tommy Christie and Percy Jones.
