Obituary for Mary Ellen Averett
A celebration of Life will be held from 1:00PM-3:00PM, Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Blanchard St. Denis funeral home in Natchitoches, LA.
Ms. Mary was born April 20, 1930, in Alexandria, LA and passed from this life on April 6, 2022, in West Monroe, LA at the age of 91. She was an administrative assistant for the state, and a member of First United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Clark Averett; daughter, Stephanie Averett Triplet; father, James Watson; mother, Flora Brown Watson; brothers, James T. Watson and Ralph Watson; sisters, Quanita Hundley, Lucille Lafitle, Shirley Brumly, and Barbara Edmonson.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Kim Hardee and husband Don, Teri Freer and husband Rand, and Dawn Averett; son, Clark Averett and wife Cindy; brothers, Billy Watson and David Watson; sister, Cheryl Sparger.
Also left to cherish her memories includes eleven grandchildren, Lyndsey Mitchell, Lee Hardee, Faith Meyer, Alex Hardee, Stephon Freer, Grace Cash, Waymon Hesser, Jeffery Hesser, Ryan Gibson, Daniel Neathery, and Kyle Triplet.
